Saturday, 31 October 2026: no classes (Saturday). Classes are back on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. This answer is worked out from the calendar each time the page is opened.
For 2024/2025 the directory lists an early-morning room (aula matinal) at 8 schools in Torrox, a canteen at 8 and school transport at 6; of the 5 public infant and primary schools, 5 have the early-morning room and 5 a canteen. In Andalusian public schools the early-morning room runs from 7:30 until classes begin, the canteen for up to two hours after them, and activities from 16:00 to 18:00; each school's own hours are its own.
The calendar fixes dates, not hours: every school sets its own timetable. Infant and primary schools in Andalusia customarily teach from 9:00 to 14:00, and secondary schools from about 8:15 to 14:45. The 3D map uses those customary hours to show when children arrive and leave, and says so.
